COVID RESTRICTIONS: Open for Group Bookings starting in EARLY JULY. A Booking Group must be 'cohort families' that do not require physical distancing. Each Booking Group gets an exclusive start time and date; there will be no other guests other than your group.  Learn about our Covid-19 Safety Plan and the Provincial Covid-19 Best Practices for rafting.

What do you provide? For the whitewater trip, we provide PFDs, helmets, wetsuits, wetsuit jackets, wind-resistant jackets and wetsuit socks. All you need is a swimsuit or similar for under the wetsuit, and a pair of shoes that can get wet. For the River Pirates and the Spirit of Revelstoke, we provide PFDs, wind/water-resistant jackets and wetsuit socks. Dress for the weather. For more details, see What You'll Be Wearing.

Will you have a wetsuit big (or small) enough? Almost certainly! The children's suits start at size 8. Adult suits go as large as 4XLarge in a extra-wide style. We haven't met anyone yet we couldn't fit in a wetsuit.

When is the best time to go? All the seasons bring their own special magic. High water is usually in early July, so book then for the wildest rides. The water gets lower, and time on the river gets longer as the summer goes by.

Do I have to book in advance? Many groups book just a day or two in advance. We usually take last minute bookings, but book ahead to guarantee your seat. Full payment is required when booking. If a trip has open spots online, and you have a credit card, you can book it!

Do you have to know how to swim? No. The PFD's (lifejackets) are designed to keep you head-up in a river. We teach you what to do if you fall out of the raft, how to get back in, and how to swim safely in the river - which is completely different than swimming in a pool or lake!

What are the minimum numbers for trips?  If you have less than 4 people, you can book onto a trip if there are already people going. If not, you can submit a Booking Request.

Do you have group rates? Yes. If you have a group of 6 or more, you get 5% off. If you have a group of 12 or more it's 10%. And, for a group of 18 or more it's 15%.

How old do you have to be? It depends on water levels! Kids as young as 8 can go on the whitewater trip at lower water levels, but at higher water, the age guideline is 12 years old. Please call us to ask! Toll free 1-877-945-3786. The age limit for the River Pirates and the Columbia River Journey is 4 years old.
